Among the Tall Kelp

Let your eyes wander

1. Begin with the large fish in the middle, dark at both ends with a rosy band around its body.
2. Its chin is white, and its small red eye looks straight ahead.
3. Just below it, a smaller speckled grey fish waits beside a kelp stem.
4. Follow the stems and you will find rows of little round floats, like strings of amber beads.
5. Off to the right, a dark little fish swims on its own in the open water.
6. Higher up on the right, a pale banded fish is half hidden among the fronds.
7. At the bottom, the kelp gathers in thick, ruffled heaps of brown and gold.
8. Up in the top right corner, sunlight comes down through the water and warms the fronds.

There is no last thing to find. Look again wherever your eyes would like to rest, or close them and keep the picture.
