Lily Pads After the Rain

Let your eyes wander

1. Begin with the single pink water lily near the middle, its petals opening around a small yellow heart.
2. All around it, the lily pads are covered in raindrops, some as large as coins and some as small as seeds.
3. Here and there, a few drops have run together into long, uneven pools.
4. Each pad has a narrow notch cut in from its edge toward the centre.
5. Look beneath the surface, where a few reddish leaves lie just under the water.
6. Near the top, small round green buds are just peeping out of the pond.
7. In the top right corner, one pad has turned yellow and orange.
8. Between the leaves, the dark water lies smooth and still.

There is no last thing to find. Look again wherever your eyes would like to rest, or close them and keep the picture.
